  10. Not an expert in this area but why wouldn't X0 or X1 work, as well 
  11. as X3.  According to my USRobotics Sportster 14000 manual the X0, 
  12. X1, and X3 commands disable the NO DIAL TONE return code from the 
  13. modem (X2 has NO DIAL TONE enabled).
